I may have lost a thousand pounds in my lifetime (okay, the same 20 pounds over and over again), but I’m certainly not an expert. However, what I have learned is that every single one of us is different. We’re like stars in the Universe. What works for some, doesn’t for others. Our bodies are unique with different chemicals and genes triggered by unknown exposures to environmental toxins. To top it off, these components are directed by an ever-changing gut flora…which really runs the show. Wow! No wonder that there are so many opinions about detox and diet. It’s super-complex! However, I think we can learn from the advice and research of countless published, qualified experts. We can create a balanced system that really works for each and every one of us.
